Saint Thomas Hospital prides itself on being one of the top healthcare employers in Tennessee. As we serve our patients, the administration of Saint Thomas Hospital is here to serve you as a member of our team.
We encourage our professionals to expand their experience through research and broaden their knowledge through training programs.
We also appreciate the importance of good communication, so through this channel of our Web site we hope to provide useful information about employee programs, policies and opportunities we believe you'd find interesting.Saint Thomas Health Services is a member of Ascension Health, the largest nonprofit healthcare system in the United States. To help our more than 105,000 dedicated physicians and associates best serve our patients, we actively leverage our systems size to reduce our overall expenses while providing clinically excellent patient care. We do so, in large part by seeking system wide agreements with suppliers in select products and service categories.
But at Saint Thomas Health Services and Ascension Health, it's about more than that. As a Mission-focused organization, we seek more than just value from suppliers with which we partner. We're also about values - principles rooted in our identity as a Catholic ministry and our commitment to continuing the work of our sponsors. We have high expectations of all of our suppliers - expectations related to such things as corporate integrity, cooperation and respect.
In order to reduce confusion in the work areas and ensure that we eliminate as many distractions as possible in the workplace and based on our commitment to provide the best service possible to all we have implemented a Vendor Registration policy We appreciate your support and assistance in helping us accomplish our mission.
Saint Thomas Health Services' Security Offices handle the flow of vendors at all campuses. Vendors (potential and current) should immediately check in with Security upon arrival. Look for signs showing the way to the Security Office at each campus. Any in-house information desk can also provide directions.
New or non-Current Vendors
Vendors who do not currently have product or equipment on campus have the ability to present their driving license and get a temporary badge good for that visit. A second temporary badge will only be made available if a campus employee has made prior arrangements with Security for the vendor to gain admittance again.
Vendors seeking product evaluations must fill out the Vendor Application Form located below. If there is a need, the vendor will then be contacted for a meeting and a subsequent product evaluation.
Current Vendors
Vendors who currently have product or equipment on any STHS' campus need to complete a vendor packet. The check sheet provided in the vendor packet indicates requirements for registering. There is a $75 per year charge to register and receive a permanent badge and a vehicle tag. Packets can be picked up at any campus security location. The permanent badges are good at all campuses.
